The final game of round 29 in the Bundesliga takes place at the Rhein Energie Stadion between FC Koln and RB Leipzig.
A point would move the visitors up to third on goal difference, leaping above Borussia Monchengladbach and Bayer 04 Leverkusen.
FC Koln are sitting in a comfortable midtable position – they should get dragged into a relegation battle and they’re very unlikely to finish in the European spots.
The two lineups for this evening’s game are as follows:
FC Koln
Timo Horn; Benno Schmitz, Toni Leistner, Rafael Czichos, Noah Katterbach; Jonas Hector, Ellyes Skhiri; Florian Kainz, Elvis Rexhbecaj, Ismail Jakobs; Jhon Cordoba
Substitutes: Thomas Kessler, Jorge Mere, Kingsley Ehziibue, Jan Thielmann, Marco Hoger, Kingsley Schindler, Dominick Drexler, Simon Terodde, Anthony Modeste
The hosts lineup in a 4-2-3-1 formation with top scorer Jhon Cordoba leading the line. Benno Schmitz is making his 11th start of the season and Toni Leistner his seventh since arriving in January. Both in a defence that includes 19-year-old Noah Katterbach.
Jonas Hector has been one of the stars in this Koln side for a number of seasons, playing a more advanced role of holding midfield these days.
RB Leipzig
Peter Gulacsi; Nordi Mukiele, Dayot Upamecano, Lukas Klostermann, Angelino; Dani Olmo, Marcel Sabitzer, Konrad Laimer, Christopher Nkunku; Patrik Schick, Timo Werner
Substitutes: Yvon Mvogo, Willi Orban, Hannes Wolf, Tom Krauss, Amadou Haidara, Tyler Adams, Ademola Lookman, Emil Forsberg
Patrik Shick partners Timo Werner in attack again as RB Leipzig are playing a 4-4-2 or 4-2-4 formation again today. Dani Olmo hasn’t done much since the restart down the right whilst Christopher Nkunku has put in a few good crosses from the left.
Nordi Mukiele and Angelino come in at full-back amid a few injuries in defence. Marcel Sabitzer and Konrad Laimer will be looking to dictate play from the middle of the park.
