Jadon Sancho netted a hat-trick on Sunday afternoon as Borussia Dortmund ran out 6-1 winners away to SC Paderborn.
The England international was making his first start since the Bundesliga restarted a fortnight ago following a recent injury.
Sancho netted his first just before the hour mark to make it 2-0 following an excellent first touch from Julian Brandt in the build up to providing the assist.
The 20-year-old then removed his Borussia Dortmund shirt to reveal a top in memory of recently murdered George Floyd in Minneapolis, USA. His top read “Justice for George Floyd”. Photos below:
After Paderborn had halved the deficit courtesy of a penalty in the final 20 minutes, Jadon Sancho swiftly made it 3-1. Achraf Hakimi and Marcel Schmelzer got among the goals before Sancho broke away on the counter-attack before firing home his third.
Jadon Sancho now has 17 Bundesliga goals and 16 assists in his 27 appearances (22 starts) this season.
