Löw names Germany squad for Belarus & Northern Ireland games

Germany national team head coach Joachim Löw has announced his 24-man squad for the final Euro 2020 qualifiers against Belarus and Northern Ireland.

Leon Goretzka, Nico Schulz and Sebastian Rudy have all been recalled to the squad. Bayern Munich’s Goretzka has recently recovered from injury.

The 2014 world champions simply need to better Northern Ireland’s result against the Netherlands when they take on Belarus at Borussia-Park, Mönchengladbach on Saturday 16 November.

Subject to a shock result, Germany then face Northern Ireland at the Commerzbank-Arena in Frankfurt in their final Euro 2020 qualifier on Tuesday 19 November.
